CLASSES

CLASSES The New Hampshire Academy of Sewing offers a variety of classes covering all aspects of garment sewing, pattern fitting, pattern drafting, and fit. They range from short term classes - 6 to 8 weeks long to long term classes - 6 months to a year long. Most classes are offered on a first come, first served basis. If you are interested in a class, please contact us to find out when the class is scheduled. If you and 2 of your friends want a particular class, as time permits we can schedule one just for your group. We also offer private lessons. Contact us to learn more.

Which one is right for you? See our "Skill Level Prerequisites" to help you decide where to start.

  • If you have never sewn, or sewed many years ago and want a refresher, try our Beginner class.
  • If you have a little sewing knowledge and want to increase your skills, try one of our Basics classes.
  • Our Pattern Fit, Draft & Design for Style series is perfect for those that have sewn for a few years or more and are frustrated with how commercial patterns fit them ... and need some help figuring out why.
  • Looking for an alternative to vocational training, going off to design school in the near future, or looking for a career change? Look at one of the Garment Construction courses.
